Quest/Omega Health Scan
Chairperson Lion Gerry Phillips thanks all those that helped make the health scan another successful event. There were 127 individuals that had scanning completed.
Easter Egg Hunt
Co Chairperson’s Lion Ray Wolf and Lion Phil Deibler want to thank all those who helped on collecting eggs Friday April 6th and helped with the Egg Hunt on Saturday April 7th. Although there was some loss of attendance due to our Christmas like weather we still had 740 children. The festivities were high with the Easter Bunny and our own East Cocalico Lion roaming the grounds with the children and adults alike. A special thanks goes to Wal-Mart for their help with supplying gifts at reduced rates. The club would like to thank Lion Phil and Lion Ray for their hard work and dedication on this event. Let us not forget to thank the Boy Scouts as well as the Community in their support of us as well as the event.
Appreciation Night
Appreciation night was held Saturday April 14th at the Rainbow Dinner Theatre. Thirty-eight lions and their spouses as well as those widows that have helped on our events of the year attended the comedy, “Good Bye Charlie”. A buffet of Barbeque Spare Ribs, Roast Beef, Chicken and Fish along with vegetables and desserts were had by all. We thank Lion Jim Moser for putting together the event. It was noted that all was fantastic with the exception of a missing pin by our own Sergeant at Arms Lion Glenn Eidemiller, its ok his own appointed assistant spotted the infraction and matters were taken care of.

Senior Citizens Dinner
The senior citizens event will be held Saturday April 28th at the Reamstown Fire Hall, anyone interested in helping please contact Lion Bob Nevling.
Armchair Races
The Armchair Races are being held Saturday April 28th in the evening, chairperson Lion Bob Weaver will need some help setting up please contact Lion Bob if you can help.
Just a Reminder
- May Board Meeting will be Monday May 7, 2007 7:00 PM at the home of Lion Don “Bud” Lewis 11 James Circle Denver, PA 17517.
- Those who have not paid their dues please do so at your earliest convenience. Just a reminder the second half of dues are now being issued to all, if you paid your dues and received a notice please let the secretary know so the concern can be corrected. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated see Secretary Lion Rick Bates or mail to PO Box 166 Reamstown, PA 17567.
- If you have an email address please let the secretary know so that he can save the club some cost on mailings.
- Those Lions that are Chairpersons, please remember to get a tax exempt form from either the Club Secretary or Treasurer.
- Don’t forget to ask your spouses or guest if they would like to go on the tour of Susquehanna Association for Blind and Vision Impaired (SABVI). The tour will be May 14th a small light dinner will be served at SABVI. There will be a head count at the next meeting.
- Let’s wish all those fellow Lions their family and friends that are not feeling well or recuperating from surgeries a speedy and safe recovery, especially the families of Lion Don Lewis and Lion Bill Miller for their recent family losses. We wish a speedy recovery to Janice Lindauer recovering from her recent surgery. If you hear of anyone feeling ill or in the hospital, please remember to contact Lion Tom Lindauer chairperson of our Advisory Committee.
