Each year the District holds a special night call "Passing of the Banner". This is the night where the club of the Immediate Pass District Governor passes the "District Governor Banner" to the club of the new and current District Governor. This year, President Jeffery Schwartz of the Bareville/Leola/Leoacock Lions Club passed the District Governor's Banner to the East Cocalico Lions Club. This banner is placed at each of the clubs meeting to represent the District Governor when he can not attend due to his District responsibilties.
