Recently, the East Cocalico Lions Club honored Augusta Nissly as their December Student Of The Month. Augusta is the daughter of Brian and Marty Nissly. She attends Cocalico High School where her activities include Student Government, Journalism, Yearbook and Softball. She was recently crowned Miss Denver Fair and also earned a Team Spirit Award in her freshman softball year. Her hobbies include taking pictures, making collages, reading, writing, attending sporting events and spending time with friends and family. Her future plans include attending a college to major in Public Relations and Journalism. She is shown here, along with her parents, accepting a certificate from Lion J. Noel. Each month, the East Cocalico Lions Club honors a student for their achievements and for being one of Cocalico High School’s finest.
Each student is presented with a certificate and a savings bond. Awarding a Student Of The Month is just one of many ways which the East Cocalico Lions serve their community.
