The East Cocalico Lions Club honored Matthew Oberly as their December 2006 Student of the Month. Matthew is the son of Gary and Karen Oberly. At Cocalico High School he is a member of the Soccer and Lacrosse teams, Student Government, SADD and the National Honor Society. One of his major honors was being named a two time Soccer MVP. One of Matt’s hobbies is juggling and is a Pennsylvania and Maryland State Yo-Yo champion. Proving his talents Matt gave the club a five minute demonstration of his Yo-Yo talents. His community service consists of helping with IU13 and working at Cocalico Soccer Camp. After graduating from High School, Matt is planning to attend either Kings College or Salisbury College for Liberal Arts or Business Marketing.
