The East Cocalico Lions Club honored Katie Ueberroth as their January Student of the Month. Katie is the daughter of Richard and Lee Anne Ueberroth. She is a senior at Cocalico High School where she is involved in SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), Cocalico Community Partnership and is the sports editor of the Yearbook Staff. Though involved in many sports, including Spring Soccer and Swimming, her major sport is Field Hockey. She has earned and received many honors as a Field Hockey player some which includes being a member of the PA All State First Team, PA All-Academic Team, Lancaster/Lebanon League All League Team and Lancaster/Lebanon League Academic All Star.
Her hobbies include reading, long jogs, hanging out with friends and playing soccer. Community activities that she is involved in include helping at an elementary field hockey clinic and being active in her church. Her future plans consist of attending Old Dominion University to play Field Hockey.
