East Cocalico Lions Club honored Jordan Rutt as their October 2007 Student of the Month. Jordan is the son of Bob and Angie Rutt. As a senior at Cocalico High School he is the treasurer of Student Government, President of the National Honor Society, a member of the Varsity Boys Tennis Team and a manager of the Girls Tennis Team. He also helps in the I.U. classrooms and works in the concession stand at the schools sports events. Jordan has maintained a 4.0 grade average throughout High School and has been invited to attend a Leadership Conference at Messiah College. His hobbies and interests include playing tennis, fishing, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family. Community services consist of participating in many church activities, helping with the Denver Fair and the school’s Senior Citizen Prom.
