April 2016 Student Of The Month – Lyndsay Engle
The East Cocalico Lions Club bestowed the honor of Student of the Month to Lyndsay Engle who is a Junior at Cocalico High School. Lyndsay is very active in sports at Cocalico and is a member of the Soccer, Basketball and Lacrosse Teams. Other School Activities that she is involved in is National Honor Society, Student Government, LEO Club and recently was elected at President of the Class of 2017. Even though she is very active in school she practices the Lions Clubs motto of “We Serve” outside school by volunteering at Colonial Lodge, Tutoring for Denver Elementary and babysitting at Denver PTA meetings. She also helped organize a food drive for the O.M.P.H. Food Bank. She has been honored as a Science and Social Studies Student of the Month, Second Team All Star for Lacrosse and has been selected for the Student Athlete Leadership Conference. Lyndsay’s future plans include attending College and working in the Medical Field.
