March 2017 Student Of The Month – Vanessa Binkley
The East Cocalico Lions Club bestowed the honor of Student of the Month to Vanessa Binkley at a club meeting which she attended with her parents. Vanessa loves music and participates in the school’s Choir, Choralaires, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. In fact, she was no stranger to the club as she was part of a group that sang at the Club’s Christmas Party. She is also involved with the school’s Theater and is the President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society (a program which focuses on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy). Outside of school Vanessa serves in her church and is planning to go on a mission trip to Haiti. She plans to attend college to major Child Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
