November 2017 Student Of The Month – Skyra Heckman
Skyra Heckman was bestowed the honor of Student of the Month for November 2017 by the members of the East Cocalico Lions Club. Skyra is a member of the field hockey team and is also a member of the National Honor Society, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and participates in the Army 4 One Bible Study. Even though she is very active she believes in the Lions Clubs motto of “We Serve” by representing the Lions clubs of the Cocalico School Area by serving as a member of the Leo Club, a Lions club service organization within the High School. Honors include being on the 4.0 Honor Role and part of the 2017 Homecoming Court. In her spare time, she Volunteers with Ablaze and Ignite Youth Ministries. Her future plans include attending college to major in Social Work.
