January 2026 Student of the Month – Ruby Baumbach
Ruby Baumbach was honored as the Club’s Student of the. Ruby is Bilingual, Vietnamese and English, and some of her School Activities include Student Government, Treasurer for the National Honors Society, Spanish Honor Society and NSLC at the University of British Columbia. She also participated on both Cocalico’s Tennis and Volleyball teams. Besides being Honored as the Club’s Student of the Month, Ruby was recognized as a Student of the Month for Business Class. She was also accepted in HACC's Dual Enrollment program where she is enrolled in HACC courses to earn college credits while still in high school. Community Activities include raking leaves for parks, volunteering at Real Life Ministries and doing Clinical Work at Vancouver Hospital during the summer. Her Future Plans include attending a college to become an anesthesiologist.
